Tips: here there are 36 cream/icing to remove. Makes lots of special candies and combos start removing the cream. Ideally, you would have to process the popcorn and use the produced color bombs to help with the cream removal. However, a little fyi, was able to do color bomb + color bomb combo early on and that pretty much weakened the cream. Was able to remove all of the cream without having to process the popcorn. See how this level is done in video below. Good luck.
