Tips: make lots of special candies and combos start hitting the new blocker in the center to remove it. It spits out marmalades that will cover the timed bombs. You need to hit the new blocker consecutively in order to remove it. But this sometimes, can't be practical. And so yes, this level can be passed without removing it. Just make sure you have stocked up on special candies and combos to remove the marmalades and keep the timed bombs in check. As you well know, timed bombs are the key to getting high points, especially if matched/hit with/by special candies and combos. Try to make color bombs as much as you can match these with color candy of the timed bombs. See how this level is done in video below. Good luck.
